Today…

Outside my window: Bright and foggy, with a hint of blue. Also, the landscaping guys are here, and I can see Andre’s work. Also, the flowers my neighbour so nicely gave me yesterday at sitting there, waiting to be planted.

I am hearing: My daytime friend, the CBC playing on the bedroom radio. The skytrain passing by.  Myself breathing loudly in my plugged up, living-in-a-bubble ears.

I am thinking: That was a pathetic night’s sleep. I think I’ll nap after making this post.  Warren and Xavier are both sleeping, so now’s my chance.

I am hoping: Hm. Apparently not much?  I’m praying for our friends the Hatches big time.  OH I know — hoping we get together with Kerstin and Jeff before Mona goes back to Germany.

I am wondering: Does Andre know how much I really love and appreciate him?

I am reading: Officially – the New Testament, 3 parenting books, and a few funny blogs.

I am improving:  my perspective on life – particularly, how I treat people around me, and if I am showing people grace and love in my actions and words.

I am wearing: Jeans (yay!), maternity t shirt, and a yoga jacket passed on from Lara (THANKS!). Also, my wedding rings around my neck. They’re slowly making their way up my finger…a few more weeks and perhaps they can stay on there!

In the kitchen: left over soup, sweet and sour meatballs, eggs and panfried potatoes, Lara chicken and a mystery.
Plans for the week: Tomorrow I’m on duty at school (volunteering!) and the lovely Eugene is watching Warren.  Then it’s Jilian day and Candace is coming in the evening for tech support and dinner, I think.  We’re heading out to Abbotsford on Thursday to visit Andre’s cousin, and Wednesday and Friday are basically clear for now.  The evenings are as busy as ever, of course.

A few of my favourite things: Andre.

A picture thought:

Waiting for the torch to pass by our place on Thursday.
