Warren was awesome today. Well, he’s still getting over his cold, but he was actually alert enough to play today. Yesterday, we spent almost all of his waking hours cuddling on the couch. He barely touched his toys and he left all unattended computers alone. THAT’s hoe sick he was!
Today at church I decided not to send him to Sunday school, since we’d pretty much have to sanitize the place after he left. Being still sick, he wasn’t too busy during the sermon, thank God. What he WAS was affectionate. He kept kissing me – and not gooshy toddler open-mouthed kisses, either! nice little closed-lips pecks! It was meltingly sweet. He also fed me my coffee, over and over again. He’d grab my mug, ask me to open it, and then lift it to my mouth for me. No, I’m not kidding. There was something else too…OH. We ate some fruit snacks together and he took one out and gave it to me, and then took one for himself.
Before church (at home) he was equally as lovely — he decided he wanted to do puzzles at his little table so he took my hand and walked me to his table, patted a chair for me to sit on, and then went to climb into his own chair.
What a charmer!
