Today…
Outside my window: I’m THIS close to changing this question, too. I mean, honestly. How often do you “all” want to read “dark, with _______ reflected in it”?
I am hearing: A PVRed “The Big Bang Theory”, Xavier not really sleeping, Andre laughing, and Warren being sick and sleeping very poorly.
I am thinking: What does Carole need to get her act together on? I thought she was pretty together?
I am hoping: That this cough isn’t a cold. And also, based on the episode of House that I watched this evening, that if I DO take little yellow pills for the cough, that they aren’t accidentaly Gout pills that almost kill me, but not before some witty banter occurs amongst the team of specialists attempting to diagnose and treat me.
I am reading: The New Testament, parenting books, and stuff about online personality tests.
I am improving: my daily use of time, to make reading the Bible a priority.
I am wearing: Those good old cords, Costco t-shirt, and a layer of child’s puke (both children).
In the kitchen: Gluten free yumminess. I can DO this! Today: blueberry pancakes (though I ended up not eating them, because Warren puked just as I started eating, and then my appetite left me). Tuesday: meat and potatoes Wednesday: soup Thursday: Lara’s place, I hope. Friday: Andre’s comfort food, whatever it is. Saturday: maybe my parents home cooking. Sunday: more meat.
Plans for the week: I have a meaty to-do list to check off. Tomorrow is Jilian Day, but I think I’ll be Jilian-less because Warren’s sick. One day I intend to do very little with Lara. Today, I actually double-booked myself but it always works out in the end. I ended up hanging with Mom and Tara for the day: a rare treat! For the record, by the way, Jim Parsons is a comic genius. I know that has little to with my plans.
A few of my favourite things: Jim Parsons. Xavier smiling and talking to me. Warren acting like he’s bipolar (entertaining!). Successfully trimming our budget.
A picture thought: Andre’s new lens really is very nice. And this mug is made by a lady on coast who, last we checked, had stopped doing pottery. Bummer. We’d love to get a bit more of her stuff. These mugs are awesome. It’s part of a happy morning at home for me to drink my morning coffee out of my mug.
