Hey thanks! Perseverance is the key in building that obey first, question later! But it really works! You and your sister still stop dead in your tracks if I say “Stop!!”. And yesterday I saw Brian use the same words with Warren that we used with him. He didn’t say “Warren, give me your hand” he just said “Parking Lot” and took Warren’s hand.

i agree with Carole – Time outs work. And even if it seems that they dont fully understand the why, they do!

You are doing an awesome job of parenting — keep up the good job!

You know, it’s actually not too bad getting two ready in the morning. I thought it was going to be a big handful, but I get up a bit before the kids and I have everything ready – even their breakfast waiting at the table before I get them out of bed, and so I can have them dressed and eating pretty quick. You’ll find your routine!

We were just talking today about how some times you build up “how hard” something is going to be in your head, and then the kid makes it super easy. Funny about time outs – now I think about it, Duncan gets very few now. So they do work!

You know I am surprised it said to put it in plain. Most things I have read (from the times I’ve used quinoa) is that you need to rinse it and all. I’ve been pondering adding it to my oatmeal though.

Denise has been doing the same thing…she bought the little potties from ikea (super cheap) and has one in the van, one in the bathroom, one in the living room etc etc…

She makes a huge deal with a success and minimizes the accidents..they are after all just accidents!

I love ashleys joy when she goes like a big girl its so cute!
